About Josiah

Josiah College is multi-denominational Christian school that nurtures, inspires and enables students on the autism spectrum to flourish. Our autism-friendly setting provides the framework for students to access the Australian Curriculum with unique support and personalised learning programs.

Our Josiah Compass guides and informs all areas of our practice to underpin our values and our pastoral care.

With a focus on holistic development, we support your child to embrace their unique characteristics whether that is in the Junior School which provides boundless opportunities for students from Prep to Year 6 or in the Senior School which currently caters for students from Year 7 to Year 10, with expansion to Year 11 in 2024 and Year 12 in 2025. Applications are encouraged for Years 10 &11 2024.

Josiah College provides a purpose built, safe environment. Learning areas include well-equipped classrooms, breakout rooms and open, landscaped outdoor spaces.  Students attend school daily from 9:00am - 2:30pm in Junior School and from 9:00am - 2:45pm in the Senior School.

  • To create programs that connect the Josiah and Emmanuel community and enable students, staff and parents to grow in an environment that is happy, challenging, supportive and non-threatening.
  • To be a leading advocate of responsive, relative and relational education for young people with ASD so they can become empowered, confident members of our community.
